According to The Block, P é ter Szil á gyi, the head of the Ethereum development team, expressed his concerns about the direction of the Ethereum memory blockchain network on X yesterday.

P é ter Szil á gyi is targeting Ethereum's PeerDAS proposal, which will include other changes such as increasing Ethereum's blob size to 32 MB. P é ter Szil á gyi believes that PeerDAS upgrade will hinder home nodes (usually equipped with simpler computing settings) from participating in the Ethereum network, which contradicts the decentralized spirit of memory blockchain.

P é ter Szil á gyi wrote on X:

The research on Ethereum is eliminating home nodes in front of everyone, which is not what I expected when I joined Ethereum

He added:
