第五和第六个星球 the Fifth and Sixth Star（二）

第六个星球，地理学家。

地理学家：哦，看!来了一位探险家。

Oh! Look！Here is an explorer!

小王子：这本大书是什么？

What is that big book?

地理学家：我是地理学家。地理学家知道哪里有海洋、河流和沙漠。

I am a geographer. A geographer knows where all the seas,rivers,and deserts are.

小王子：听起来真有趣。你的星球很美丽。这有海吗？

That sounds interesting. Your star is very beautiful. Does it have any sea?

地理学家：我不知道。

I don’t know.

小王子：那么有河流吗？

And rivers?

地理学家：也不知道。

I have no idea.

小王子：但你是一位地理学家啊！

But you are a geographer!

地理学家：但我不是一位探险家。地理学家不能离开他的书桌。我向探险家询问，并研究他们的性格。

But I am not an explorer. The geographer can’t leave his desk. I ask the explorers about new places. I find out if they are good man.

小王子：为什么？

Why?

地理学家：因为糟糕的探险家会毁掉一本书。

Because a bad explorer can ruin the books.
